Great View & Friendly Staff During our romantic escape, we had a great view from our room balcony, which was very enjoyable. the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. They were always willing to help us with whatever we needed. the hotel was located in a great area with nearby attractions, making it very convenient for us to explore the city on foot.
Old Amenities & Uncomfortable Room we were disappointed with the hotel's older amenities. the room was outdated and uncomfortable with creaky, uncomfortable beds.

Convenient location, comfort, cleanliness good service, friendliness.
On previous visits the hotel offered three restuarants, the Asian, the Terrace (rooftop) and the Napoleon. For many years, the Asian provided excellent fare, both Indian and Chinese and the Terrace authentic and high quality Mid-East food prepared on site. Regretably, the sole remaining restuaratt, which also provides room service, is way below an acceptable standard with the result that we were forced to have most of our meals from other locations. It is understandaple that with the current downturn in occupancy there must be cutbacks but there is a reputation at stake and these must be addressed more selectively. We hope that there will be a return to a more acceptable service in this area.

Amazing Nile view from the balconies in the Nile view rooms. Perfect location.
Staff isn't nice at all. Bathroom is very old. Price for the room is extremely high, but it doesn't include anything except sleeping. Everything else is extremely expensive. It's impossible to imagine how you can pay 19USD for breakfast in Cairo! To print a single page in a business center costs 5 USD! And so on. But we found free internet in a lobby still ;)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel in the heart of the city. The location is absolutely perfect, with a stunning view overlooking the Nile. It was truly a treat to wake up to such a beautiful sight every morning. The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly, from the concierge who went out of their way to assist me, to the rest of the staff who made sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They even organized a fantastic day trip for me to visit the pyramids, which was a highlight of my trip. The service here is truly top-notch.
I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Good location and beautiful view; paying extra for the view is really worthy. The room and the hotel areas are clean, refurbished and quite.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a perfect view out onto the Nile. The hotel has character and is furnished in a distinctive, old fashioned style. The restaurant staff at breakfast were efficient. The location is ideal for visiting the Egyptian Museum and crossing the bridge to Zamalek. Some reception staff were friendly and helpful.
The Napoleon Bar was closed during Ramadan when we stayed - this should have been made clear before we booked! Some reception staff did not speak English and some staff were not very helpful. Service on the rooftop terrace was very slow and the waiter clearly did not want to be there. The breakfast was quite expensive for what it was. Being close to Tahrir Square is NOT an advantage!

the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. the staff was always available and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel's cafe, offering a wide variety of food options. the hotel's location in the Zamalek district was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and a short distance to the International airport.
The hotel lacked certain facilities that were advertised, such as a swimming pool, which would have been a nice addition to enhance the overall experience.

It is central. It has history. It is friendly. I will stay again
The taxi service is extortionate. About three times the cost of the white cab service. It is exploitation of the vulnerability of unwitting visitors.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with key attractions and landmarks within walking distance. We were able to explore the city easily and conveniently. the hotel provided stunning views of the surrounding area, especially during sunset. It was a treat to relax and take in the beautiful scenery.
The staff at the hotel were unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. We encountered rude and unhelpful front desk staff who made us feel unwelcome.

Overall positive experience
Overall, the hotel is decent but some of the services were not as advertised. For example, we signed for a tour provided by Hotel but our driver just took us to the locations and not give actual tour or guide. During check out one of the check out staff must have thought that I was going to check out without paying. He asked me to come over and check immediately. At the time, I was waiting at the lobby with our suitcases for my husband. Even I told him that he told me to get my husband to check out. Thankfully, a more experienced staff took over the situation and took care of us later.
